Field Trip to a Working Farm! 99 Years!

We invite your class to an educational tour of our farm on weekdays starting Sept. 29th thru Oct. 31st. Siegel's Cottonwood Farm 2008 School Tour has the following features:

• Farmer Paul's interactive discussion about life on the Siegel Farm over the past 98 years!
• Hayride through our different growing fields (weather permitting).
• Farm Animal Area with sheep, goats, pigs, turkeys, a cow, and more! Everyone receives a cup of feed for the animals! Watch the goats walk on the rooftop! Stop by Llama Land and the Baby Chick House too!
• Take an adventure trip through the Mini-Octopus Cornfield Maze.
• Students can get great exercise in one of our 3 play areas! Climb aboard the Pirate Ship in Fort Cottonwood. Enjoy the "kid sized" barns in our Barnyard Playland. Play on the 48 foot long train in Veggieland!
• Preschool - 1st Grade ride the Kiddie Train. 2nd - 4th Grade ride the new Ghost Town Railroad.
• A kid-sized "pie pumpkin" for each paid guest as you exit. (Bags are not provided)
• Students receive an educational Pumpkin farm coloring book.
• FREE use of our covered picnic area for your groups' snack or lunch. Space is limited and must be reserved when you schedule your tour. Due to space limitations and varying tour group sizes, we will have to determine the time your group will eat lunch.
• A bag lunch (Smucker's PBJ sandwich, bag of chips, fruit chews, and a juice box) has been added to our lunchtime concession stand menu at a cost of $4.00 per student. Please let us know how many bag lunches you will need. If your entire group is purchasing snacks or lunch, please tell us when you call in your reservation.
• We also have a Halloween Shop offering great candy and novelties. Teachers, there are fun items here for you also! Children in the shop must be adequately chaperoned & supervised.
• A spooktacular visit to the Haunted Barn is available for an additional $1.00 per person.

This fun-filled educational tour is available for only $8.00 per student & chaperones. (No coupons can be used with school groups and "2 and under free" does not apply to school tours.) Two teachers per class are FREE!

In order to guarantee your tour date we require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit per class. The deposit will be deducted from the total due on the day of your tour. The deposit is due within 7 days of phoning-in your tour date. Each year we sell out a little earlier, so call today to reserve your preferred date and time! All reservations are made on a first come - first served basis. Note: All payments are due on arrival on the day of your visit. In order to provide an enjoyable experience for all, we ask that you limit your groups visit to 2 hours. If staying for lunch, 2 and a half hours. No backpacks, please! We store your lunches upon arrival.

In order to start your tour as quickly as possible, please have the following ready before you exit your bus: 1) Your payment in cash, school check or charge (no coins please). 2) The separate totals of students, teachers, and chaperones in your group. 3) If your group is arriving in cars separately, please gather as a single group. Have all monies collected by a teacher before entering. Teachers, chaperones, and students must stay together as a group in order for your group to experience all features of the tour. One of our guides will assist and direct your group while you are here. Teachers please advise all staff and chaperones to stay together in a group!
